It’s perhaps a slightly different New Year offering than usual, but here is a tender and earnest love song written for anyone who is embarking on a transformative therapeutic journey. The new world arrives to us only through our brave creation and determination – and the stepping out from one place of fear to the new thresholds and understandings of what has made us.
This song was originally written for someone who undoubtedly had Complex PTSD having survived a violent and traumatic childhood. Sadly, he died by suicide a few years ago. It feels special to be able to make this new version now as part of the “Sometimes, Trauma..” project offering.
